Today, Samsung officially announced the next entry in its Fan Edition product catalog, the Galaxy S26 FE. The company described the new Fan Edition phone as one capable of “delivering the latest flagship experience, focused on what matters most.”
In other words, at the very core, the formula hasn't changed. Like other Fan Edition phones, the new Galaxy S26 FE aims to deliver decent specs, a generous 6.7-inch display, and a handful of premium-grade camera and AI capabilities at a price lower than the base S26 model.
Has it worked? Well, if anything, the Galaxy S26 FE might look and sound a little too familiar. There's nothing too exciting about the S26 FE, but of course, that doesn't automatically disqualify it as a good-value phone. Here's what this new model has in store for fans.

Galaxy S26 FE hardware specs and standout features
- Display: 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED, 120Hz, 1,900 nits.
- Dimensions and weight: 161.6 x 76.9 x 7.4mm, 193g.
- Dust and water resistance: IP68.

- Battery: 4,900mAh, 45W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, Wireless PowerShare.
- Connectivity: Wi-Fi 6E, LTE, 5G, Bluetooth 5.4.

- Support: Seven years of OS upgrades and security patches.
For the most part, nothing really stands out in the spec sheet. And no, despite rumors, the Galaxy S26 FE doesn't have a silicon-carbon battery.

Camera and software appear to have gotten some extra attention from Samsung. The Galaxy S26 FE introduces two new camera features that previously debuted with much pricier phones:
- My FanCam: Introduced with the Galaxy Z8 foldables, My FanCam automatically tracks the person you select in the viewfinder and keeps them centered.
- Super Steady with Horizontal Lock: It debuted with the original Galaxy S26 trio at the beginning of the year. When enabled, you can capture super-stabilized videos that maintain alignment with the horizon line.
Other, not entirely new camera features that Samsung felt like sharing during today's announcement include Nightography and Photo Assist.

Lastly, Samsung highlighted some of the updated AI tools that will ship with the new Galaxy S26 FE as part of One UI 9:
- Updated Now Brief is more customizable.
- Now Nudge expands support to select third-party apps.
